CPR010-The Guttersnipes "The Poor Dress Up" (Vinilo Blanco)

En 1987 The Guttersnipes se formaron en Londres por Shug O/Neill (quien tocó en Cock Sparrer en el “Running Riot” y en los LP’s del “Live & Loud” entre 1980 y 1982, antes de que la banda se separara por segunda vez. Su foto aparece en la portada del “Shock Troops”, a pesar de que él se unió una vez finalizado la grabación del primer álbum de Cock Sparrer) y Andy Kline. Los primeros conciertos en Londres fueron en aumento rápidamente, teloneando bandas como Splodgenessabounds, Mega City Four y The Senseless Things. A mitad de 1989 su álbum “The Poor Dress Up” fue editado bajo el sello independiente Razor Records. Este álbum llegó a vender 1500 copias, a pesar de la falta de promoción y publicidad del sello Razor Records. Un año atrás en 1988 con el mismo sello (Razor Records) editaron su primer 7” llamado “Addcited to Love”, tal vez su canción más conocida ya que apareció en varios recopilatorios Oi! de la época. Ahora (26 años después de su edición) Common People Records reedita esta joya de finales de los años ’80. La edición es de 500 copias, de las cuáles 100 son en vinilo de color blanco (la edición en vinilo de color blanco sólo está disponible en nuestra tienda on-line. A disfrutarlo!! 13 temas!
