Después del paso en falso que fue el "Another day in paradise" editado el año 2000, el "The Real Mc Oi!" volvió con lo mejor que sabían hacer los escoceses y siguieron la línea del que fue su primer LP "Ejected from the premises" editado tres años antes (1998). En resumen: Skinhead Oi!, clásico, al estilo inglés, sonido vibrante y primitivo... Las voces Oi! en la intro del "Voice of the streets" emocionan, riffs difusos y la canción retumba a ritmo fuerte, mientras Hedgy hace lo que mejor sabe hacer, contar historias de callejones en primera persona, vaya, que cualquiera puede verse reflejado con esas vivencias cantandas por Hedgy cuando miras atrás y recorres tu propia juventud como Skinhead. Cuando las canciones se escriben bien pueden golpear como un martillo, aunque hablen de beber, como en "Let the lager decide". El disco no da un paso atrás con sus pesadas batería y sus líneas de bajo, que permiten a guitarras y voces bailar por encima con mucha melodía y aún así, mantener canciones brillantes, una detrás de otra. Otros temas hablan del 'a way of life', estar cansado de trabajar, buscar venganza, beber, pasar el rato con tus colegas o simplemente causar el caos allá por donde vas. Algunos temas tal vez destacan por encima de otros como "Rather Do The Same", "Another Day In Paradise", "Left It All Behind", "Fight In The Dark", "Voice of The Street" o "Let The lager Decide", que sin duda conforman uno de los mejores LP editados a primeros del 2000 y que hoy en dia, después de tantos años, sigue en pie! Después de 17 años, Common People Records reedita este clásico del Oi!, manteniendo el artowk original, pero añadiendo un tema extra "The 1990' way", extraído del VV.AA. "Punk, Skins & Herberts Vol.4" (Helen of Oi!, 2001). Edición de 500 copias, 100 de ellas en vinilo de color amarillo y vienen acompañadas de un poster en formato A2 (sólo disponible a través de Common People Records). 14 tracks!
