After the first volume of this compilation album dedicated to Jamaican sounds "made in Catalonia", it is now the turn of the second volume, which sets the bar even higher than its predecessor released in 2020.
Compiled by Tole Torelli and wrapped in a nice design by Pau Llop, the second volume of Jamaicat presents 21 new songs by brandnew and consolidated bands, which are a good example of the quality and know-how of today's bands.
On the album you can find Ska, RockSteady, Early Reggae, some Soul and also Dub. Unreleased tracks go hand in hand with other rarer or unreleased ones.
21 young Catalan bands among which are some old ones like Soweto, The Kinky Coo Coo's or The Oldians, along with other newer ones like Sybarites, Don Cosmic, Jamaican Jazz Lovers or The Goliards Collective. In total 75 minutes that leaves you wanting more, because it is not only a sample of the current Catalan scene, but an excellent compilation at the highest level of quality. 21 tracks!
